Important Notice – Balfour Beatty & Equitix

We are very pleased to announce that Balfour Beatty and Equitix’s Offshore Transmission assets will be protected through LSBUD from Monday 29 October

The Balfour Beatty / Equitix consortium owns and operates three Offshore Transmission projects (OFTOs): Humber Gateway OFTO, Gwynt Y Môr OFTO, and Thanet OFTO. Equitix are the sole owners of the Greater Gabbard OFTO. Each OFTO provides a high voltage electricity link from offshore wind farms to the onshore transmission grid.

New LSBUD Features Now Live!

We are pleased to announce that we have performed a system update which enables some useful new features. 

Continue Job - Once an enquiry has been made, a new button is now available which allows you to extend (or continue) the search area on the next enquiry. Just click on one of your previous enquiries where you will find the Continue Job button on the right hand side. This will show the previous enquiry area on the map and allow you to extend your search area for the next enquiry.

Site Contact & Site Number - These two optional fields are available for you to tell the LSBUD Members who will be the best contact on site. [Found under the "Enquiry Details" Tab]

Notes/Description Of Works - This optional field is available to help you provide any additional information to the LSBUD Members that may be pertinent to your search/enquiry. [Found under the "Location" Tab.].



Important Notice – Severn Trent & Hafren Dyfrdwy

We are very happy to announce that from 01 July 2018, Hafren Dyfrdwy and part of Severn Trent’s networks will be protected via LSBUD. 

Severn Trent is bringing together all of its Welsh customers into a single company called Hafren Dyfrdwy, which will incorporate all the customers in Wales previously served by Severn Trent and Dee Valley.

The assets registered on LSBUD will include all the networks managed by Hafren Dyfrdwy, being a combination of water and sewerage networks in Mid and North Wales.

Of the Severn Trent networks in England, those in the Chester area will be registered, whilst the Midlands area will be continue to be managed by the Severn Trent GIS Team. Any searches within the Midlands area will be shown as being in Severn Trent’s area on the Blue List.

There are differing arrangements for those that need to pay for their enquiry responses and these will be shown accordingly for each enquiry.
